Police are seeking witnesses and dashcam footage after a silver car was involved in a collision with a pedestrian near a Wimborne school and failed to stop. The incident happened at around half past eight on Friday 18 September outside St Michael's C.E. Middle School in Colehill Lane, where a silver car was involved in a collision with a pedestrian.
Dorset Police said the driver of the silver car did not stop at the scene. The pedestrian, who is a local woman aged in her 40s, sustained a minor injury to her arm.
Officers are now asking people who were in Colehill Lane that morning to share any information that could help their enquiries.
Police Constable Jayne Addison, of Dorset Police, said: "I am appealing to anyone who witnessed the collision to please come forward."
She also asked drivers who were in the area at the time to check dashcam footage. She said footage may show "anything that may assist my enquiries".
