High Profile Properties (UK) Ltd has submitted a prior approval application for 29-30 The Triangle, covering the back area of the basement and ground floor, which has been used as commercial office space for more than 2 years.
The application describes 2 self-contained flats within the rear parts of the building, rather than changes to the street-facing shop or office unit at the front of the site in the Triangle.
The current layout includes open-plan offices at ground level, with further office floorspace below in the basement, while the upper floors already contain 2 flats that are not part of this proposal.
Planning papers say the mix of residential and commercial use at the site “reflects the character of the surrounding area”, where businesses typically occupy ground floors and apartments sit above.
The application is now out for consultation with BCP Council until September 14, giving residents and nearby businesses the chance to comment on planning application P/26/04151/PNCBD during the consultation period.
