A cash till was stolen after a Costa drive through window was smashed in Poole.
Police said the incident was reported at around 12.20am on Tuesday 15 September at the Costa on Safety Drive, where the suspect was reported to have left past Budgens towards Coles Miller Solicitors.
Officers said he was wearing a black coat, blue jogging bottoms, black trainers, orange and yellow gloves and a black balaclava, and a 29 year old Poole man has been arrested on suspicion of burglary and criminal damage.
The man has been released on police bail while enquiries continue, and Police Constable Ollie Chant, of BCP CID, said: “We are continuing to investigate this incident and I am keen to hear from anyone who witnessed any suspicious activity in the area.”
He also asked motorists who were nearby to check dashcam footage for anything that could assist the investigation, including footage of someone matching the description getting into a vehicle or leaving Safety Drive.
