The Terrace Bistro at Bournemouth Pavilion has received Tripadvisor recognition before its seasonal closure.
The gardenside venue has been given a Tripadvisor Travellers' Choice Award 2026, placing it among the top 10% of restaurants worldwide according to reviews and ratings from millions of travellers using the platform.
The annual recognition is given to hospitality businesses that receive positive customer feedback through the year. The bistro, which overlooks Bournemouth Gardens near the seafront, serves a seasonal menu with light bites, sandwiches, burgers, salads, fish and chips, children's meals and refreshments.
It will stay open during Arts by the Sea Festival this Friday and Saturday, before its final trading day on Sunday. The Terrace Bistro will then close for the season and is due to reopen in spring 2027.
Mathijs Pol, BH Live's head of hospitality, said the award was "particularly meaningful" because it was "based on feedback from our customers".
He added that the team works to provide "friendly service" for visitors. Surplus from BH Live's hospitality operations is reinvested into the charity's work across Dorset and Hampshire.
