Supercharger Restaurants Limited has applied to Bournemouth, Christchurch and Poole Council for a premises licence for KFC at Wessex Gate Retail Park in Broadstone Way, Poole, which would cover indoor and outdoor service after 11pm.

The application seeks permission for "late night refreshment" indoors and outdoors between 11pm and four am every day. A previous application for the retail park sought permission only until midnight, but the latest request adds four hours each night.

BCP Council says businesses that sell hot food or hot drinks between 11pm and five am need a licence under Section 17 of the Licensing Act 2003. The council's licensing register is available for public inspection.

People can view the licensing register online or at the Town Hall Annexe on St Stephen’s Road in Bournemouth. Anyone who wants to make "representations" must contact the licensing team by October 26.
