Parking will be suspended on part of St Swithun’s Road in Bournemouth for nine days.
The restriction will run from October 12 to October 20 while SGN carries out works on the road. It applies to the full length of the parking bay on the eastern side of St Swithun’s Road.
The affected section starts about three metres south west of the shared boundary of two Southcote Road and 36 St Swithun’s Road, and it runs south to a point about three metres north west of the boundary of 34 St Swithun’s Road.
Motorists will not be able to use the bays during the suspension, and the notice says “no waiting, loading, or unloading” will be allowed there at any time, so drivers who usually park nearby are being asked to plan ahead before the works begin.
Access for emergency services will be kept in place throughout the works, and access to homes will also be maintained where it is safe to do so while the work is taking place.
