Live Music has submitted an application for work that would bring currently unused areas behind the scenes into public use, with plans for a disabled toilet, a first aid room and storage space.
Planning documents say the work would have “minimum impact on the existing structure” and would “enhance its offer to the public”, while responding to a risk assessment survey at the venue.
The proposals also aim to provide a safer fire escape route and keep the existing fire escape doors, with consultation on planning application P/26/04226/LB due to run until October nine.
