Shop! has opened in the main foyer next to the Ticket Office with souvenirs and gifts that focus on Poole’s history, art and coastal setting. The range includes prints and homeware shaped by local landmarks, including work linked to artist Eustace Nash.
The shelves also feature pieces from local makers, including children’s books inspired by marine stories, candles and soaps made in Dorset, craft kits and jewellery handmade nearby. Lighthouse says many items have been chosen to support local talent, with ethical and sustainable sourcing used where possible.
Chief executive Elspeth McBain said: “It’s our very own little shop of delights.” She said the shop brings together two Poole cultural organisations and gives customers “a new way” to support Lighthouse’s work as a charity.
Poole Museum’s interim director Jaine Fitzpatrick said the range is designed to “encourage curiosity” and inspire interest in Poole’s history, art and natural world. She said sharing expertise with Lighthouse was “a pleasure”.
The opening follows exhibitions and outreach projects which Lighthouse and Poole Museum worked on during 2025.
