A motorcyclist suffered a serious arm injury in a single vehicle collision in Poole on Tuesday.
Dorset Police received the report at 6.07pm on 8 September after the motorbike was involved in a collision on Dorset Way, near Mannings Heath Roundabout.
Police officers attended alongside the ambulance service, while a road closure was introduced to give emergency crews space to respond and deal with the incident.
The motorcyclist was assessed at the scene before being taken to hospital with an injury to his arm, which police said was believed to be “serious but not life-threatening”.
Arrangements were then made to recover the motorbike from Dorset Way once the emergency response had been completed and the scene was ready to be cleared.
The closure remained in place while officers and ambulance crews worked at the scene, temporarily preventing vehicles from travelling through that section of the road.
Dorset Police confirmed that vehicle recovery had been arranged and the affected stretch of Dorset Way had reopened to traffic by around 7.30pm.
