A 50-year-old man from Blandford is wanted on prison recall, Dorset Police has said.
Officers are carrying out enquiries to find Antonio Cruz and are asking people across Dorset to share any information that could help locate him. The force is seeking help from anyone who may have seen him or knows where he is.
Mr Cruz is believed to have links to the Dorchester and Weymouth areas. He is described as around five feet 10 inches tall and of slim, athletic build, with black shaved hair and brown eyes.
Detective Constable Deborah Langford said officers were carrying out "a number of enquiries" to find him. She added: "I am now appealing to any members of the public with information regarding his whereabouts to please come forward."
Dorset Police said anyone who sees Mr Cruz should not approach him and should call 999 immediately. Anyone with other information can contact police on 101, quoting occurrence number 55260142409, or contact the independent charity Crimestoppers anonymously.
