Dorset Police are investigating after a man in his 80s died in hospital following a collision involving a silver Honda Jazz in Belle Vue Road. The collision happened at around 5.30pm on Tuesday 11 August in Belle Vue Road, where a silver Honda Jazz was involved in a collision with the pedestrian, who was taken to hospital with injuries considered life threatening. Dorset Police said the man later died in hospital on Monday 24 August, and that his family had been informed as officers from the Serious Collision Investigation

The collision happened at around 5.30pm on Tuesday 11 August in Belle Vue Road, where a silver Honda Jazz was involved in a collision with the pedestrian, who was taken to hospital with injuries considered life threatening.
Dorset Police said the man later died in hospital on Monday 24 August, and that his family had been informed as officers from the Serious Collision Investigation Team continue their enquiries.
Police Sergeant Mike Burt said: “Our thoughts are with the loved ones,” adding that investigators are still working to establish the circumstances of the collision and want to hear from anyone with information or footage.
