Bournemouth’s independent horror film festival will become a full weekend event in March 2027.
Screams By The Sea is expanding its next festival across two days at Pavilion Dance South West in Bournemouth, with the event due to take place on six and seven March 2027.
The organisers say the decision follows previous editions which sold out and a wider community around the festival. They said the 2027 event is “expanding to a full weekend”.
VIP passes are also being introduced for the Bournemouth event. Radi, from Screams By The Sea, said the plans reflect a “growing community” around the festival.
The change means the festival will double in size compared with its earlier editions, moving into a weekend format at the same Bournemouth venue.
The announcement gives local cinema audiences an early look at plans for the event, which is set to return to Pavilion Dance South West next spring in Bournemouth.
