An illuminated Halloween trail is now open at Moors Valley Country Park and Forest.

The after dark route runs until this Sunday, with visitors following woodland paths through eerie scenes, light installations and characters including giant skeletons, a carnivorous garden and the Demon Barber.

Forestry England is hosting the event, which has been created by Culture Creative and brought to Moors Valley by Sony Music Limited, with timed entry and limited capacity each evening.

Natalie Crabb, Recreation Manager for Forestry England at Moors Valley, said the forest’s “winding paths and tall trees” make it a fitting setting for Halloween fun on the illuminated trail.

Food and drink will be available during the evening, including hot chocolate, marshmallows, seasonal street food and sweet treats, while visitors will also find photo opportunities along the route too.

James Dakin, Director of Live Experiences at RG Live, said the trail is designed as “family fun” with an after dark experience that draws visitors into the adventure from the first step.
