Future Shapers 2026 is due to take place at Hilton Bournemouth on Tuesday, 13 October, bringing together founders, creatives, technologists, educators, students, business leaders and innovators from Bournemouth, Christchurch and Poole.
The event says it will examine the “ideas, technologies and skills that will define the next decade”, with sessions covering AI and the future of work, entrepreneurship, innovation, future skills, digital creativity and diversity in tech.
Speakers listed for the programme include Henry Coutinho-Mason, Jelte Liebrand, Faith Ruto, Francesca O'Connor, Janine Jacobs, Padma Dayananda and Matt Desmier, with local businesses and talent also expected to contribute.
The agenda includes a session led by futurist and author Henry Coutinho-Mason, which will make the audience “active participants” as ideas and predictions are gathered from across the room during a discussion about technology, work, careers and the BCP region.
Silicon South says the conference is for people who are shaping “the future of technology, creativity and opportunity” in the area, with networking and practical learning also part of the programme.
