The programme will include artists' open studios, workshops, group shows and curated exhibitions, with the public able to visit hundreds of venues and buy original art and crafts during the May dates.
Organisers describe the event as a chance to 'Meet the Makers', including people who are beginning their careers and professionals who have already built a practice in Dorset over several years.
The event is now held annually, and the 2027 programme will also mark the 250th anniversary of headline sponsor Hall and Woodhouse, with special events planned across Dorset during the May programme.
An informal meeting for prospective participants will take place at The Duchess of Cornwall Inn in Poundbury on the third of November, and Dorset Visual Arts, which runs the event, says it 'supports visual artists and makers at all stages of their career'.
