BCP Council gained control of Upton Park Farm after the tenancy ended on April 2, and cabinet members have unanimously agreed how the council owned site will be split between sales, countryside work and public use.
The farmhouse, 3 cottages and some nearby land are due to be sold to help fund the purchase of the former tenancy, while the remaining fields and barns will support activities linked to Upton Country Park.
A council report says the barn nearest the country park could be used for commercial activity, with possible leisure, active play, camping facilities and hospitality uses considered alongside the wider country park estate.
Councillor Andy Hadley said fields had been brought into the country park estate, adding that camping could "support people camping there", while retained barns would help countryside operations, livestock welfare space and feed storage.
The fields kept by the council could provide public open space, conservation grazing and biodiversity net gain sites, and Councillor David Brown said residents can access a "big country park".
