Bournemouth East residents are being asked to share views before a parliamentary debate on Jewish safety.
Tom Hayes MP says he wants to hear from constituents ahead of the Westminster Hall debate, which is due to take place in Parliament on Tuesday 8 September 2026 after being called by Labour MP Catherine West.
He is particularly asking members of the Bournemouth East Jewish community to tell him which issues they want raised in Parliament, along with their wider experiences, concerns and priorities before the debate.
In a statement, he said, “I want to represent constituents’ views,” and encouraged people to email his office at tom.hayes.mp@parliament.uk so he can prepare for the Westminster Hall discussion ahead.
He added that he may be called to contribute only briefly, depending on attendance, but will attend the whole debate and listen carefully to the contributions made there by MPs.
The debate is scheduled to start at 9:30am, giving constituents time to contact the Bournemouth East MP with the points they believe should be raised during the session in Parliament.
