Bournemouth filmmakers were recognised as 55 awards were presented at the town's international film festival.
The second Bournemouth International Film Festival brought hundreds of visitors to the Hilton Bournemouth on 9 and 10 October, with more than 60 shortlisted films screened and several workshops and screenings selling out.
Nicole Sarah Fry received the outstanding Bournemouth or local filmmaker award, while The Banjo Boys, directed by Neil Nayar and Bournemouth based Johan Nayar, won honours for sound and original music.
The Hustler, directed by Fedor Kravchuk and Nikita Kravchuk, claimed 6 awards including the jury prize, while Such a Vivid Imagination took 5 in the UK feature film category at Saturday's ceremony.
Other winners included Trading Cards for UK animation, Life Goes On for UK short film and Dusted Off for international short film, with the festival also screening the documentary LOMU and comedy Hot Flash.
Festival director Steve McCarten said the event "took emerging filmmakers seriously", while Steve Witt of supporter Not Just Travel congratulated those involved, saying that making a film and putting it in front of an audience "takes real nerve".
Bournemouth One was an official media partner once again for this event - see our interview with Founder and Director Steve McCarten on our Instagram page.
