The burglary happened between 11am and 11.30am on Wednesday 26 August 2026, and Dorset Police said nothing is believed to have been stolen from the residential address in Bournemouth during the morning incident.
A man was reportedly seen acting suspiciously outside the property before the burglary, and he is described as white, of big build, and wearing a green top, flat cap and blue disposable face mask.
Police Constable Antony Brooks said officers are “carrying out enquiries” and want to hear from people who saw suspicious activity or a man matching the description in the area that morning.
He also asked residents to “check their home CCTV footage” for anything that may help identify who was responsible, with information being sought through Dorset Police or Crimestoppers as enquiries continue in Bournemouth.
