A new health and wellbeing business network has launched by the Bournemouth Chamber of Trade and Commerce.
Close to 50 members and potential members attended the first meeting at the Marriott Highcliff Hotel.
Guest speaker Dr Isioma Nwokolo addressed the launch, which was hosted by Bournemouth Chamber board directors Michelle Reade and Rosa Trout, and the chamber said audience participation began straight away.
The group is described as the "Health and Wellbeing Specialist Network Group" and is part of a wider plan for themed business networks, which are intended for chamber members and potential new members.
Bournemouth Chamber says it plans to hold six health and wellbeing network meetings a year, and several attendees at the launch volunteered to speak at the next session before the evening ended.
The chamber has run specialist network groups before and says there will be six "live" by Spring 2027, with more groups planned for local business contacts in Bournemouth over the coming months.
