Entries have opened for the 2027 Vitality Bay Run, which returns to Bournemouth seafront next spring.

The event is due to take place on Sunday 21 March 2027, with routes along Bournemouth’s seafront and views across Poole Bay for runners, walkers and families taking part in the event.

The 2027 programme includes a 10 kilometre race, a half marathon, a five kilometre race, a one kilometre Kids Fun Run and a new two point five kilometre Junior Fun Run for younger entrants and beginners.

Forest Holme Hospice and HealthBus Trust have been confirmed as charity partners, and participants can choose to raise funds for causes which support people across Bournemouth, Christchurch and Poole during the run.

Councillor Richard Herrett said the run brings "thousands of people" together, while Vitality’s Nick Read said the event helps make physical activity feel "fun, inclusive and achievable" for families and first time entrants.

People are encouraged to register by 26 October 2026, before the entry window changes, with more information available through the event website for anyone planning to take part next spring.
