Major routes
The A338 Spur Road closes overnight in both directions this week for resurfacing. The southbound carriageway from the Ashley Heath interchange to Blackwater junction shuts from 8pm to 6am on the night of Monday 7 September, and the northbound carriageway from Blackwater to Ashley Heath closes for two nights from Wednesday 9 September.
Dorset Way is closed in phases between Holes Bay Roundabout and Mannings Heath Roundabout from 7am to 7pm on Saturday and Sunday for resurfacing.
Full closures
Longfleet Road in Poole is closed at its junction with Elizabeth Road while SGN carries out gas main works, with a local diversion in place until 29 November.
Serpentine Road in Poole is closed eastbound for its entire length behind the old Barclays building until 25 September.
Gervis Place in Bournemouth remains closed for long-running town centre works, affecting bus routes and stops. Bus users should check their stop before travelling.
Hendford Road in Bournemouth is closed at the Columbia Road junction for electrical works, finishing on Monday 7 September.
Lane closures and temporary lights
Towngate Bridge in Poole is down to one lane near The George roundabout for emergency SGN work until 11 September, which is likely to hold up commuter traffic at peak times.
There are overlapping works around the Bournemouth Gardens area. Gardens View has multi-way temporary lights at its junction with Spencer Road until 11 September, and Southcote Road has lights at the Gardens View junction until 11 October, both for SGN.
Derby Road in Bournemouth is under temporary lights between Frances Road and Knyveton Road for SGN gas work until 18 September.
Seamoor Road in Westbourne is restricted near the LV building as part of the BCP Council maintenance programme, running until 1 October.
Kingland Road in Poole has temporary lights for SGN work until Monday 7 September, and Commercial Road in Parkstone has lights between Park Road and Station Road for Openreach until Sunday.
East Dorset
Verwood Road at Three Legged Cross has temporary lights for SGN gas work, which are due to stay until 5 November.
Cranborne Road near Honeybrook Farm, just north of Wimborne, is restricted under temporary lights until 16 October for emergency work to Stanbridge House, which was badly damaged by a speeding car and is now falling down in places.
